IMMERSION DAY

7:00 – 7:45 Meeting point: Escuela Normal Superior de Bucaramanga. Departure to Lomas del Viento.

8:30 – 12:30 Interactive Activities: interaction and integration through programmed activities that allow the strengthening of communication skills in English.
12:30 Lunch
2:00 - 5:00 Recreational Moment: Enjoy the recreational club and the facilities.



OBJECTIVES
• To offer English educators, teachers’ trainers, trainees, and postgraduate students, a space to share researches, works and experiences about English language teaching process.
•  To provide an opportunity for interaction between language teachers in the country and around the world, in the teaching of foreign languages to strengthen strategic plans for improvement in the quality of the programs.
To strengthen and create inter-institutional cooperation in the teaching of foreign languages, in order to boost the training process of language teachers, bilingual students, researchers and experts.
To reestablish the space for the development and pedagogical exchange of bilingualism initiatives among the Normal Schools in the country.
This third version is projected to have practicing teachers and teachers in training from the Normal Schools around the country and from other institutions who work in the teaching of languages.
For this purpose, it is necessary to promote and distribute this event among the students from 10th to 11th grades in the Normal Schools and the PFC in order to achieve the appropriation of this project in future teachers.
Likewise, and as a main source of strengthening, this invitation is addressed to those teachers, experts, institutions, researchers and also leaders in training, innovation and research projects who work around the processes of teaching-learning and second language acquisition.

8 a 12:20 PEDAGOGICAL MEETING

Space for the exchange of knowledge, pedagogical strengthening, through talks, lectures and debates, which will deal with topics of pedagogical updating and research advances, as well as the recognition of new educational policies in the process of language learning foreign This moment allows the teacher to reflect on their practices and implement improvement action plans that benefit their work as a trainer of the new generations.

12:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. MEETING FOR LUNCH
The lunch space is an excuse for the socialization of life experiences and pedagogical among the participants, which allow to strengthen links with peers and institutions that develop projects and programs of social and academic impact in the community. The educational action is fundamentally loving in that the desire to learn is nourished and complemented by the desire to teach. The space of the pedagogical agape allows the members of a group that shares interests and objectives, connect and articulate ideas, complementing those that have already been enriched by experience, inquiry and research.


2:00 a.m. to 5:00 PEDAGOGICAL MEETING
Space for the recognition of new experiences and proposals in the modality of simultaneous workshops to which the participants will have the option of choosing two of them.

8:00 a.m. to 12:30 m IMMERSION DAY


The meeting place for this activity is a tourist site with space for interaction and integration through programmed activities that allow the strengthening of communication skills in English.
The objective is to make a break in everyday life to embark on a purely natural journey surrounded by natural landscapes that allow interaction and cultural exchange.
For this, the inclusion of native teachers who facilitate communication in real contexts with the spontaneous use of the language has been achieved. It has been a useful formula for the effective development of linguistic agility and effective communication strategies.
1:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. RECREATIONAL MOMENT
In the afternoon of this second day, we will have time for rest in a natural environment, in which we can share with the other attendees in a relaxed and natural environment. If you want, you can count on the benefits of the headquarters in the pool, the slide, the outdoor rest. Or, if you wish, you can enjoy a spa, which has an additional cost, since it is directly with the site where the event takes place.
